In Internet & Network box, click Network |

Set Show option box to Internet Modem |

On TCP/IP tab click the arrow in the Configure pop-up list, and choose Using PPP |

In the Domain Name Servers box, type the
following DNS server addresses:
a. 66.205.24.27
b. 208.52.68.66 |

In the Search Domains box, type InfoChannel and click on Apply Now |

In Telephone Number box type: 980-7000 if
in Kingston & St. Andrew. (Please
see
“ Islandwide
Access” on the Customer Care webpage for
your local access number.) |

In the Account Name Box type your InfoChannel
User ID |
 |
In the Password box type your InfoChannel
Password check Save Password |

Click on Apply Now |

Click the PPP Options button. All of the
options here are optional. The following configuration
is suggested: |

Check Connect Automatically When Starting
TCP/IP Applications |
 |
Check Prompt every 30 min to maintain connection |
 |
Check Disconnect when user logs out |
 |
Check Redial
if busy and set to try 9 times |
 |
Set Wait before redialling to 30 seconds |
 |
Leave the Advanced
Options at their defaults. Click
OK |
 |
Click on the Proxies
Tab and uncheck all of the
boxes |
 |
Click Apply Now |
 |
Click the Modem Tab |
 |
Choose Your
Modem, usually Apple Internal
56k Modem
from the Modem pop-up menu |
 |
Select your preference of modem sound On or Off |
 |
Set dialling to Tone |
 |
Click Apply Now |
 |
Close Network Window. Your Mac is now set-up to
dial to InfoChannel |
