Start by double clicking on the My Computer icon
on your desktop |

Double click the Control Panel |
 |
Double
click on the Network and Dial-Up Connections. |

Double
click Make New Connection. This will start the
Network Connection Wizard. Click Next. |

For
the Network Connection Type, choose “Dial-Up
to the Internet”. Click Next. |

Choose
the button, "I want to set up my connection
manually...". Then click Next |
 |
Choose “I connect through a phone line and
a modem”. Then click Next. |
 |
Enter 980-7000 in the telephone number box if in
Kingston & St. Andrew.

Deselect “use area code and dialling rules”.
Then click Next. |
 |
Enter your InfoChannel user name and password.
Then click Next. |
 |
Enter InfoChannel in Connection Name. Then click
Next. |
 |
Choose No to Set up an Internet Mail Account then
click Next. |
 |
Click Finish. |

Shortcut to InfoChannel Icon: |
 |
Right click on your newly created InfoChannel icon. |
 |
Select Create Shortcut |
 |
Click “Yes” to place the shortcut on
your desktop. |
 |
Double click the InfoChannel icon on your desktop. |
 |
Click Dial to Connect to the Internet. |
